Around 15 minutes’ drive from Polegate, Bexhill and Hailsham, the Lamb Inn Wartling is an 18th-century coaching inn less than 4 miles from the East Sussex coast. Individually designed rooms with free parking and Wi-Fi are complemented by a restaurant and bar serving local ales. Each room is en suite, with bath or shower, and has views of the garden. There is a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities in all rooms at the Lamb Inn. A full cooked breakfast is served each morning, and the restaurant makes use of local and seasonal produce in a wide-ranging menu featuring daily specials. Locally brewed ales and an international list of wines are also offered. The attractions in this area of East Sussex include the 11th-century Hastings Castle, around 12 miles away, and the 1930s De La Warr Pavilion at Bexhill, which is a 15-minute drive.
